I’ve got a lot of books. Often times, usually because I’m forgetful, I end up with multiple copies of books. Instead of selling them on Amazon Marketplace, I thought I’d give them away instead. The first two books are Problogger and Blog Blazers. If you’ve been thinking of getting into blogging, these would be excellent books to read.
ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income
by Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett
Blog Blazers: 40 Top Bloggers Share Their Secrets
by Stephane Grenier
If you want both of these excellent books on blogging, totally free, I only ask you to do two things. First, subscribe to our RSS or email feed. Second, leave a comment below telling me why you should win. That’s it!
I’ll pick one person, and contact you at the email address in your comment. I’ll ship the books anywhere in the United States.
UPDATE: I’ll pick a winner Thursday, August 19 at 5PM EST. Keep on commenting with your entries!

I want to finally get going with my blog and perhaps use it as a writing sample platform. It would be great to win.
I am trying to develop my blog to use as a platform to help me in my search for a great job when I graduate, and help promote my personal brand to potential employers. I know these books would really help me refine my content whilst allowing me to expand my blog.
I’m in Australia but would be happy to contribute to help these books cross the water =) and would love to continue this by passing on the books when I am finished in this same way.
Hey just found your blog… It’s really good. Anyway I’ve never read Stephanie’s book and it looks like a book that I’d like.
I think I should win because after I read them I’ll probably share the books with others.
OK – I’m not usually one for self-agrandement (did I just make that word up, or is it real?), but I’d really like to have a look (win) these books for a few reasons:
I have two blogs that could use some help – one for my mental health counseling private practice where I try to reach out to people who could use help with mental health and wellness tips. I’ve been writing articles for the past 4-5 months and would love some tips on improving them.
The other blog I write (starting) is for therapists who are trying to improve themselves and their work situation by leaving corporate mental health and going into private practice – I really believe we can improve mental health if we had more therapists working in their own business, than working for others.
Finally, I need to share these with my wife – she is just (this week) starting her blog on teaching and literacy coaching after she was let go by her school due to state-wide budget cuts.
So – 3 blogs, all needing help – would love to have these books to help us both get going, and keep momentum.
Thanks!
Dan
I’m launching a book in October, and I’m not experiencing the traffic I would like to have corresponding with the launch. I’ve scoured the web and I really feel these books would help me immeasurably. PLEASE GIVE THEM TO ME!!!! Lol! God bless!
I would like to win these book(s). My friend who has started his own business and I’ve encouraged him to begin using social media tools would be the recipient of at least one of the books. the other would be me.
Thanks!
My blog could definitely use some direction and TLC. I really like Louise’s idea and would pass them along after reading.
My personal blog could use some direction for sure and I’ve recently started blogging for a variety of clients and could definitely use some help there!
I like the idea of passing them on once I’ve read them, so I’m seconding Louise on passing them on.
If you look at my blog it will become painfully obvious to you why I need these books. I’m a successful freelance writer, but this is my third… or maybe fourth blog and it is just not doing it for me. Please. Help.
I’ve thought about getting Problogger’s for a while and I heard good things about Garrett’s. I know my blog is ready for round three of development, so I’d appreciate one of these. Great idea to pass them on afterwards, too.
I would like to win one of these. Have started blogging on the Best of Brent and will be creating my own blogs shortly. Am also going to be training others to write blogs. Your website looks great.
I could use this because I don’t know what the heck I’m doing!
Also, I like the smell of books.
Hi! I would love to have these books for my students. We have created an organization to help changemakers create impact on the social web. Our blog just went live today! Thank you!
Cool blog! I would love to win these books, since I was actually going to purchase them on Amazon.com. After reading the free pages on the site, I was inspired. I am working to become a full time writer/blogger, and I feel these books will help me do just that. Thanks for the opportunity.
Helen
My blog has been up for about a month now. I must say, I have not posted much, but I am working on it. I am looking for the right inspiration, and your tweets and blog posts have been great. Having those tips and tricks available next to me and “offline” would be just what I need to get the results I am looking for.
If this isn’t good enough I can beg. I’ll even write a blog about it.
Thanks.
My blog’s going through another evolution. These books would definitely help. And, like @Jenni Chiu, I love books, though I’m not in the habit of smelling them. =)
I’m really trying to launch a site to help with some children’s books I’m writing. I think these books could help a lot.

I would love to win because I need some ideas!! It would be great to have some inspiration!
Oh, thanks, I was looking for some new books to sell on Amazon!
I’d love to win…I recently tagged along to the ProBlogger day in Melbourne as a blogging virgin (I was literally the only non-blogger in the village), I was so inspired when I got home I started my own blog. I love my blog, but I need to get it out there a bit more and learn some more tricks of the trade…I’m fluttering my virtual eyelashes as I type….
I feel that learning from books and having a tangible reminder sitting by your bedside or on your shelf to constantly work at your blog is rewarding in its own aspect. Sure you can sit on your computer all day, browsing blogging sites, but it’s easier when you can carry with you a focused, ad-less, distraction free hunk of knowledge that can plant its ideas into your mind no matter where you are.
I’ve been trying to balance my life as a busy college student and a psycholgical/self-help blogger, and I’m hoping that the tips from these two books can help me to achieve that!
Thanks,
Brittany
I am extremely new to blogging and I’ve subscribed to Pro Blogger for several months & encouraged my other blogger friends to follow him. I am so grateful to have come across his site and in my opinion, there’s really no one out there on his level that shares the secrets of success and writes as captivating & easy to read and follow the way he does! I have learned a lot about a lot when it comes to blogging and yet I still have a long way to go. So far he has taught me everything from approaching my site from a professional standpoint to monetizing. I love Darren Rouse’s work and have amazing respect for the Master of blogging! I desperately need these books for my own growth as a blogger. I am a manicurist of 20+ years with a lot of knowlege to share but I’m not getting it out there timely because my friends were rushing me & I didn’t take Probloggers advice to have several weeks worth of posts done so you’re not pressured to catch up! My blogsite is: http://naturalnailenhancements.blogspot.com. what I have done so far was all thanks to Probloggers insightful information! I thank you for the opportunity to compete for these books!
I would like to develop my blog into something more. These would be great tools. Also I would like to share some of this knowledge with my students.
Thanks Dvora
I would love a six figure income from blogging so I can move to southern France with my mistress and live Tim Ferris’ life. For real my wife and I did a round the world trip for 11 months for our honeymoon a few years back. Now we would like to take our three school age kids out of their crap public school for a year and give them a real education traveling the world with their awesome parents. A kick arse blog will certainly allow for the travel and income. Oh please pick me since I sparred you the typical drivel and you all know you wish you had parents that even thought of what we want to do for our kids. Now cough up the goods. Thanks for the generous offer of the books. Great idea!
I’ve read reviews of both of these books. They sound exactly what I need to get started on a successful blog.
I’ve been interested in blogging for a couple of years now. I love writing and have been following various bloggers to gain valuable information and tips. I would love to win the books. I want to know everything I can to get me to the confident level of blogging for my company website and for my own personal branding. If I HAPPEN to make six figures some day doing it, well then…BONUS. WOOT WOOT!
Thanks for all the great comments! The winner is Brittany – Congratulations! I’ll email you details now.
Thank you, Brandon for sharing your extra books. I’m so grateful!
